Bil Plastik Ambalaj ve Plastik Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. was established in 1967 by now deceased founder Ali Biliktü to operate in the plastics manufacturing industry. Changing its legal status to corporation (anonim şirket) in 1984, the company has since then been operating under the name Bil Plastik Ambalaj ve Plastik Sanayi ve Ticaret Anonim Şirketi.
